Bartram’s Garden

America’s oldest botanical garden, with “roots” that stem back to the 18th century—and visitors that included George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson—has a long and important history. With the towering trees, wetlands, and wildflower meadow, it may be hard to believe that you are still in Philadelphia. Don’t forget to head inside to the cider press, and the Bartram House.
